A side driveway was installed at the same Gooseberry Hill residence as previous entry, with a 100mm roadbase/gravel/limestone hardstand surface, which was sealed with a 25mm red asphalt / hotmix / bitumen surface - commonly called red gravelpave with 1% oxide. The asphalt driveway provides access to the property owner's shed and the rear of their block, and allows vehicle access as well as somewhere for them to store their boat or caravan. We have also installed side driveways such as these for subdivisions where a bitumen driveway is required to access the rear block.
