Below are before and after photos of an existing hardstand driveway and parking bays under the carport which the owner asked us to seal with asphalt.
The contaminated surface was removed with a Bobcat and top dressed with a 50mm thick layer of roadbase which was then compacted and waterbound to form a hardstand surface.
The area was then tacked with a bitumen emulsion and sealed with a 25mm thick layer of 7mm/10mm granite black hotmix/asphalt.
The edges were pulled in as kerbing was not requested.
