This dual driveway property in Kalamunda had a gravel hardstand 7m² patch between the two sections of asphalt. The owners decided to have the area sealed.
We sawcut the edges, removed any vegetation, relevelled, compacted and waterbound the gravel surface and then sealed the patch with a bitumen tack and a 25mm thick layer of 7mm granite black hotmix/asphalt. Eventually the patch will lighten up in colour and reduce the contrast.
