Lesmurdie - driveway - patching
Below are a couple of photos of some of the potholes in a residential driveway situated in the Perth hills suburb of Lesmurdie.
Below are photos of the completed patch work of the worn potholed driveway.
Approximately 25 potholes were swept clean, tacked with a bitumen emulsion and filled with a compacted 7mm granite black hotmix/asphalt.
The worst section of the driveway as seen in the last phots was pre-filled with roadbase, levelled, compacted and waterbound. The two edges were sawcut to allow for the new hotmix surface to tie in flush. The area was then tacked with a bitumen emulsion and resurfaced with a 25mm thick layer of 7mm granite black hotmix/asphalt. The area was then rolled and compacted leaving a level section of new driveway.
