This driveway and crossover which has red and black sections is extremely badly worn and potholed and in dire need of repair.
This photo was taken on arrival and below is a photo of the same property after the area was resurfaced with black asphalt/bitumen/hotmix later on the same day.
The benefit of using asphalt is that it can be laid quickly and used immediately as opposed to concrete or brick paving which require a period of time to set/settle - often a number of days.
