Rockingham - commercial carpark modifications and patching

The first three photos show two crossovers at a commercial property in the Perth suburb of Rockingham.

The concrete kerb and crossover edges have been destroyed by traffic cutting the corners.

The following four photos show each side of both crossovers having extensions excavated, concrete kerb and fill removed, roadbase installed @ 200mm thickness, compacted, waterbound and marked out for new concrete kerb to be laid to the edges.

The following three photos show the completed works.

The dried out hardstand crossover extensions had new mountable kerb installed to the new edges and sealed with a bitumen tack emulsion and 40mm thick layer of 10mm granite black hotmix.

Sand was sprinkled which prevents scuffing on newly laid surfaces and allows for immediate traffic use.

A few depressions and potholes throughout the carparks and driveways were also patched.

Rubble excavated from the extensions was removed from site and the sand relevelled.
