This rear carpark laneway had an area excavated and was in need of repair. Our workcrew removed excess fill (boxed out) , then lay 100mm of roadbase which was compacted and waterbound forming a hard basecourse, then sealed with a final layer of asphalt (also called bitumen / hotmix). The new surface was tied in flush to the surrounding asphalt carpark and soakwell lid to create a safe working area and will last for many years to come.
Yellow sand has been sprinkled on this job after completion to protect it against unsightly tyre scuff marks.
