Below are before and after photos of pothole patching at a commercial property in the Perth suburb of Morley.
The well worn section of carpark had developed approximately 20 potholes. Rather than resurfacing the owner requested us to patch the potholes.
The potholes were swept clean, tacked with a bitumen emulsion and sealed with 7mm granite black hotmix/asphalt blend - ensuring all edges were overlapped to reduce the chances of more potholes developing on the edges.
The potholes were covered with sand to allow for immediate traffic use.
The patching of these potholes has extended the life of the carpark by a number of years.
