Osborne Park - commercial - carpark - potholes - extension

Before photos of a commercial property in Osborne Park where the carpark was extended, patched and carpark lines re-marked.

Parts of the existing undercroft carbays had subsided. The areas were pre-filled, resurfaced and tied in flush after the edges were profiled.

Photos taken on completion of all asphalt works.

Parts of these areas have already been line-marked and further photos show linemarking completed.

The extension of the carpark was cut square, excess fill removed, roadbase/gravel installed, compacted and waterbound @ 100mm and sealed with a bitumen tack and 25mm thick layer of 7mm granite black hotmix/asphalt.

Below are the existing undercroft carbays which have a number of subsidences.

Below are photos showing the Linemarking in progress and the undercroft carpark once prefilled, tacked with a bitumen emulsion, edges profiled to tie in flush and resurfaced with a 50mm thick layer of 10mm granite black hotmix/asphalt.

While all work was in progress the business was run as normal and the new hotmix/asphalt was immediately sprinkled with sand to allow for immediate use without scuffing.
