The owner of this property contacted our Company to install a water diversion hump adjacent to a right-of-way at the rear.
The water from the right-of-way ran straight into his garage causing a major flooding problem.
A strip of existing asphalt surface along the edge of the brickpaving was tacked with a bitumen emulsion and a hump was formed out of 7mm granite black hotmix/asphalt mix.
This water diversion hump will stop any water flowing off the right-of-way into his house.
After a few hours the asphalt/hotmix hump would have cooled enough to allow for traffic use.
The bricks were temporarily put in place to allow the asphalt to cool before vehicle use.
