Darlington - domestic driveway -patching

Below are photos of various stages of trench repair to a 50 year old residential driveway in the Perth hills suburb of Darlington.

The driveway was excavated by a plumber to replace pipes and we were called in to effect repairs.

Roadbase was added to the existing gravel base and compact and waterbound to the required levels.

The driveway was patched with a bitumen tack and 7mm granite black asphalt/hotmix at 25mm.

The edges could not be sawcut as the existing bitumen edges are old, brittle and constantly breaking away.

The patches were overlapped to ensure a good seal.

The owners also requested a quote for the full length of the driveway which is expected to be resurfaced later on this year.
